Deborah Levi Lane, LCSW
Co-Founder & Concierge Psychotherapist
How do I describe myself? I would use words like empathetic, approachable, personable, genuine, and tenacious. I enjoy connecting with people and helping them. I have been described as “enthusiastic”, “straightforward”, “get to the point” and “real”. My patients say that I am kind and caring with warmth and a sense of humor. They say my laughter and joy of life are contagious.
I have an innate skill to quickly build a rapport with my patients. I give them hope and solutions and the opportunity to live their life with happiness, a sense of strength, purpose, and accomplishment. My patients say that I am caring, compassionate, sincere and that I never give up on them.
I believe in the worth of all individuals. I want to help you believe in your worth, too. Sometimes it is like putting together the pieces of a puzzle. In the end, we have created a beautiful picture . . . and that “picture” is you.

Jay Evans
Co-Founder & Administrator
After over 17 years as a hospital CEO, Jay Evans returned to San Antonio 25 years ago and began managing medical group practices. He was the executive director for two large primary care medical groups before starting his own practice management consulting company. Evans and Avante Healthcare Consulting assisted many physicians with practice start-ups, business development, clinic operations, managed care contracting, and financial management. In 2010, Jay began a 7-year stint as the regional CEO for IPC Healthcare, a national hospital medicine group. He was responsible for directing the overall development and operations of this medical group of over 100 providers.
In late 2019 Jay assisted Deborah in starting her own private psychotherapy practice. Two years later, Jay joined the practice full-time as the Administrator. He directs all the non-clinical aspects of the practice. Jay is an alumnus of Trinity University’s undergraduate program in Business Administration and graduate program in Healthcare Administration.
